An absolutely terrific blade, true to the original
My great, great uncle was Sydney Douglas Buckleton and fought with the Australian Heavy Cavalry in the Second Boer War. His sword has been passed down the generations, but sadly while in "safe keeping" was sold. In my grief, I have found the EXACT sword, even down to the filigree on the blade. It is not sharp, because the British thought that "slashing" was ungentlemanly. Apparently, using the pointy bit was OK!!!
