The Phoenix is a mythical bird. Found in many cultures across the world, including Egyptian, Roman, Indian and Chinese and Japanese. It is symbolizes renewal, resurrection, rebirth as well as the sun. Its fabled to destroy itself by fire and be born again. To end and begin again. A positive symbol.

Our Rising Phoenix Wakizashi has a fully tempered, polished and sharpened, handmade carbon steel blade. Done in traditional Japanese style. It features a beautiful bo-hi (blood groove) on a time tested, traditional "shinogi-zukuri" blade profile.
