Description
The wonderful thing about our Damascus steel is its always hand-forged. Artisan blacksmiths make these knives using traditional methods, good old hammer and anvil. Honouring skills passed down through millennia. This produces something intrinsically valued and beautiful that machined cut blades never have.
Damascus steel in the modern sense is obtained by forging alternate types of steel together. Using various techniques of both layering and twisting the smith is able to produce an array of patterns, all crafted by hand. Each pattern is unique like a fingerprint. Original Damascus steel dates back to the Viking age, and blacksmithing to early civilization.
This knife proves that you cannot fault simple design. Sleek curves, and a pleasure to hold.

Very nice for an affordable damascus knife. Solid and heavy, thick blade and good quality from blade to the wood. Clear attention to detail on this and very happy to own this piece. It will be put to good use in hunting and skinning! Only small drawback is the clip on the leather sheath does not stop the knife from sliding out, but partly due to the shape of the blade and the tightness of the clip strap, but no biggy.
