Description
Jewellery, including rings, has been popular for thousands of years. Skilled metal workers created jewellery, which would have been worn by both men and women. Most early jewellery was made from lead alloys and bronze and only the wealthy could afford such pieces made from gold or silver.
The Clasped Hands in the form or a ring were popular in both Roman and Medieval times.
This Clasped Hand Ring is made from 22ct gold plated lead-free pewter and is supplied in a clear plastic blister. The information card is full colour on the front and has historical information on the reverse.
