Our handmade Black Dragon III katana has a fully tempered, polished and sharpened carbon steel blade. It features a beautiful bo-hi (blood groove) on a time tested shinogi-zukuri blade profile.

Blade features a "Bo-Hi" commonly known as a "Blood Groove" with etched hamon.

Traditional Japanese style polish.

Ornate dragon handguard, with golden accents.

Alloy handle fittings in Japanese dragon motif.

Wooden handle with genuine black stingray skin, and black bindings. Featuring dragon "menuki" ornaments.

Solid wood sheath in deep black high gloss lacquer.

Sleek, stealthy, all black design.

Great Sword at great value

This is an economical and well made sword for its budget. Great for display or practical application such as Iaido. It is well balanced and has a good cutting edge. Aesthetically it is hard to go past. Highly recommend.

Quality Katana

It took about 10 business days to get to me from NZ to AUS even during covid so props to the staff. I really wanted to give it a 5 star but the paint on my Tsuba was warn and chipped. Other than that, this Katana is sturdy, clean, evenly weighted, sharp and pre-oiled for convenience. I bought the stand along with it and it's definitely eye candy and a conversation starter!

I bought this for my brother's 30th birthday to display. It is awesome!! Him and I both love it for display and playing around becoming children again, haha.
