Pointy Points Rewards
Pointy Points is the Superior Swords rewards program.
Members earn points on eligible purchases, which can later be redeemed for rewards on future orders.
Access the program from the rewards tab - Please note: Pop up blockers can stop the points tab from opening.
How do Pointy Points work?
When you create a customer account and place an eligible order, you will receive 5% back in Pointy Points on the goods portion of your order.
For example, if you spend $100 on eligible products, you receive $5 worth of Pointy Points.
Once you have enough points, you can redeem them through the Pointy Points Rewards panel and use them as a reward discount on a future order.
How do I earn Pointy Points?
The easiest way is to create an account when placing an order on our website.
Once your account has been created, eligible points are added automatically after your order has been completed.
You can create an account in any of these ways:
- During checkout, by selecting “Create account”
- Through the Sign In / Register link at the top of the website
- Through the Pointy Points Rewards icon at the bottom-right of the website
All of these options connect to the same customer account system.
How do I view or redeem my points?
Click the Pointy Points Rewards icon at the bottom-right of the website.
From there, you can sign in, view your rewards balance, check ways to earn points, and redeem available rewards.
To redeem points:
1. Open the Pointy Points Rewards panel.
2. Sign in to your account.
3. Select “Ways to redeem”.
4. Choose your reward amount.
5. Follow the instructions to apply the reward to your order.
Important information
- Pop up blockers can stop the points tab from opening.
- Pointy Points do not expire, so you can save them up if you choose.
- Points are earned on the goods portion of an eligible order only. Points are not earned on freight, shipping, or delivery charges.
- Rewards are redeemable against the goods portion of an order only. They do not apply to freight, shipping, or delivery charges.
- When creating a reward coupon, we recommend choosing an amount equal to or less than the goods value of your order. This is because reward coupons cannot be partly saved once used. For example, if the eligible goods total is $49.50, creating a $50 reward coupon would result in the unused $0.50 being lost.
- For the smoothest checkout process, we recommend adding the items to your cart before creating a reward coupon. This helps ensure you choose the correct reward amount. However, you can also create a reward coupon first and use it later.
- Generated reward coupons remain in your Pointy Points account and can be accessed again through the rewards panel if needed.
- Orders placed through our website, by direct email, or in our physical store are eligible for earning and redeeming Pointy Points.
- Trade Me orders are not eligible for earning or redeeming Pointy Points.
- Trade accounts are not eligible for earning or redeeming Pointy Points.
- As per our Terms & Conditions, only one customer account is permitted per individual.
- Labour charges, including but not limited to service work, consultation, fabrication, restoration, and customisation, are generally not eligible for points.
