Description
Silicon carbide. Flattening/ grading/ leveling stone.
This stone is used to flatten standard sharpening stones, taking out the "dish" created from extended use.
Has a striated side for flattening. The solid reverse side can be used for heavy grind cutting/ shaping and chip removal of blades.

FLATTENING STONE
Works as described, took back a very worn Japanese 1000 grit stone to flat again in under 30 minutes. saved an almost unusable stone and barely a mark on the flattening stone. Also worked nicely taking the paint logo off the spartan stones. Recommended
