Description

The wonderful thing about our Damascus steel is its always hand-forged. Artisan blacksmiths make these knives using traditional methods, good old hammer and anvil. Honouring skills passed down through millennia. This produces something intrinsically valued and beautiful that machined cut blades never have.

Damascus steel in the modern sense is obtained by forging alternate types of steel together. Using various techniques of both layering and twisting the smith is able to produce an array of patterns, all crafted by hand. Each pattern is unique like a fingerprint. Original Damascus steel dates back to the Viking age, and blacksmithing to early civilization.

Contemporary style Japanese Samurai knife. The polished buffalo horn and mosaic pins really set this one off!

      very happy

I bought this as a gift, the blade is awesome the pattern is perfect, the weight and feel of the knife is on point. The only small picking point is the tang and the scales don fit perfectly you can't see this but you can feel the mismatch in the hand. But over all, I'm very happy and would recommend this knife, I look forward to buying more from these guys.
