The “Hussar” were light cavalrymen, who originated in Central Europe during the 15th century.
The Austro-Hungarian Hussar's Officers Sabre features a stunning curved carbon steel blade with engraved astronomy themed relief one side and on the other;
As for the inscription. “ANDREAS COMES HADIK GENERALIS CAMPI MARESCHALLUS EXCELSI CONSILY AULAE BELLICI SUPREMUS PRAESES” - The blade features a traditional Latin inscription honouring Count András Hadik, a celebrated Hungarian commander. Translated, it reads: “Count András Hadik, General, Field Marshal, Supreme President of the High War Council.” This engraving is a hallmark of the commemorative version of this sabre style, included as a tribute to his legacy and the prestige of Hungarian cavalry tradition.
The hilt is made in beautifully decorated solid brass. With a timber handle and genuine leather grip, finished with brass studs. The scabbard timber fitted with embellished brass casing/ trim. Finished with genuine leather.
Full sized, functional replica sword, in 1065AISI carbon steel.
Comes standard with fine, blunt edge. Can be sharpened for an additional charge.

Hussar Saber
This sword looks awesome, feels great in the hand and is super fun to swing around. Haven't done much cutting with it yet but I already want another one :)
