Description
The chrysanthemum, or "kiku" in Japanese, is the national flower of Japan. Representing longevity, rejuvenation, and nobility. It is often depicted in art, literature, and even on the Imperial Seal of Japan. Both the chrysanthemum and katana are emblematic of Japan's rich cultural heritage and continue to be celebrated as powerful and enduring symbols of the country.
The "Kiku II - Damascus Katana" is made by combining different types of steel, then heating, folding, and hammering them together. This process creates a unique pattern throughout the blade, known as “Damascus”, that is both visually striking and functional. The resulting blade is highly prized by sword collectors and martial artists. A blade of exceptional quality and beauty.
