Description
The chrysanthemum, or "kiku" in Japanese, is the national flower of Japan. Representing longevity, rejuvenation, and nobility. It is often depicted in art, literature, and even on the Imperial Seal of Japan. Both the chrysanthemum and katana are emblematic of Japan's rich cultural heritage and continue to be celebrated as powerful and enduring symbols of the country.
The "Kiku II - Damascus Katana" is made by combining different types of steel, then heating, folding, and hammering them together. This process creates a unique pattern throughout the blade, known as “Damascus”, that is both visually striking and functional. The resulting blade is highly prized by sword collectors and martial artists. A blade of exceptional quality and beauty.

kiku damascus
so far out of the 3 katana's i have bought from superior swords this one is my favourite, really nice damascus, very sharp and the suttle japan influences that have been included into this katana such as the national flower of japan within the hand guard as well as the colour of the flower in the saya wrap, and of course the quality of overall product is 2nd to none.

Quality and shipment to Brazil
I'm very satisfied with the product quality. It's a beautiful lightweight sword, with fine details, and for a product that's handmade with such effort I think it's absolutely worth the price. Also, I'd like to compliment the staff's help with shipment, it wasn't easy as I thought it would be due to my country's bureaucracy, but they were always helpful and kept me informed of what was going on with the courier. I recommend their service to everyone interested in buying a sword.
