Themed Colouring Posters

The Colouring Posters consists of four A3 size colouring sheets, an educational information sheet and six colouring pencils. There is a colourful header card and all are held in a clear cellophane bag.

CELTIC: On the front of the posters are the images of a Celtic Villiage, Celtic Knotwork, Celtic Zoomorphic designs and Boudicca. The educational information sheet has a number of Celtic images on it and it describes about Celtic Life, Celtic Tribes, Celtic Art and Celtic Coins. There is also a Celtic crossword to complete.

EGYPTIAN: On the front of the posters are the images of a pharaoh's mask, a scene from the Nile, the Egyptian hieroglyphic alphabet and the preparation of a mummy. The educational information sheet has a number of Egyptian images on it and it describes about Egyptian Life, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Tutankhamen and prices and wages. There is also an Egyptian crossword to complete.

MEDIEVAL: On the front of the posters are the images of a jousting tournament, a castle attack, knights fighting and a medieval town scene. The educational information sheet has a number of Medieval images on it and it describes about cathedrals, medieval life, coins and the medieval soldier. There is also a crossword to complete.

PIRATE: On the front of the posters are the images with the themes of the pirate Blackbeard, pirate attack, a lucky escape, buried treasure. The educational information sheet has a number of pirate relate images together with the history of pirates, famous pirates and pirate life and there is also a crossword to complete.

PREHISTORIC: On the front of the cards are the images of Tyrannosaurus Rex, Early Man, a card showing the Prehistoric Timeline in 4 images and a card showing Dinosaurs, Reptiles and Birds on one card. The educational information sheet has a number of dinosaur images on it and describes what dinosaurs were, the different dinosaur periods, prehistoric life and a crossword to complete.

ROMAN: On the front of the posters are the images of Gladiators in combat, a Roman baths, Roman Soldiers and a battle scene. The educational information sheet has a number of Roman images on it and it describes about the Romans in Britain, Roman numerals, Roman Coins and there is also a crossword to complete.

TUDOR: On the front of the cards are the images of a Henry VIII and his six wives, Elizabeth I and Elizabethan famous figures, The Spanish Armada and The Executioner's Block. The educational information sheet has a number of Tudor images on it and describes about the Tudors, their alphabet and their currency. There is also a Tudor crossword to complete.

VICTORIAN: On the front of the cards are the images of famous Victorians, a Victorian street scene, Victorian life and the Industrial Revolution. The educational information sheet has a number of Victorian images on it and it describes about Queen Victoria, the Industrial Revolution, Victorian money, famous Victorians and there is also a crossword to complete.

VIKING: On the front of the posters are the images of Viking warriors, a Viking longship, a Viking village attack and a Viking village. The educational information sheet has a number of Viking images on it and it describes about the Viking Runic alphabet, Viking coins, Viking Trading and there is also a crossword to complete.

WORLD WAR I: On the front of the cards are the images of a trench warfare, dog fights in the air, the war at sea and tank warfare. The educational information sheet has a number of World War I images on it and it gives a brief history of World War I, describes about Dogfights in the air, trench warfare and the War at Sea. WORLD WAR II: On the front of the posters are the images of the D-Day landings, the battle of Britain, the home front and Britain at war. The educational information sheet has a number of World War II images and includes sections on World War II, the home front, money and prices in World War II and there is a crossword too.
